A METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE DURATION OF THIOPENTONE NARCOSIS IN THE DOG

The difficulties encountered in assessing the duration of thiopentone narcosis in the dog are discussed.A method is described using the average times required for return of 5 different end points.The significance of any results obtained using this method are discussed.
