摘要

In 360 faecal samples of swamp type buffalo calves, Toxocara vitulorum ( 100.00%), Trichostrongylus sp. (50.00%), Strongyloides sp. (40.00%), Bunostomum sp. (30.00%) and Haemonchus sp. (30.00%) were recorded. T. vitulorum infection (100.00%) was foundupto 90 days of age while other infections appeared slowly from 31st to 60th day of age. Overall EPG of T. vitulorum was found highest (9200) in August and thereafter fell sharply. The other nematodes gradually appeared from August and persisted throughout the period of observation. The highest percentage (80%) of infection was recorded in monsoon season followed by post-monsoon (60%), pre-monsoon (51.11%) and winter (33.33%) seasons.
