Occurrence of FMD outbreaks in Jharkhand

In Ranchi, Hazaribagh and Dumka districts of Jharkhand, total 52, 27 and 26 FMD outbreaks were recorded with 750, 403 and 416 attacks, respectively. Highest outbreaks and attacks were recorded in winter season and temperature had negative significantrelationship with outbreak and attack. O strain in Ranchi and Asia-1 in Dumka districts were noticed during the outbreak.
