Four systems of planting (Open vase, Hedge row, Tarura trellis and Bed) for peach cv. July Elberta practiced under rainfed mid hills conditions were evaluated for their performance. Open vase system produced plants with good vigour and higher per plant yields, per ha yield was higher under Bed system but fruit quality was comparatively poor. Tatura trellis system gave optimum yield of good quality fruits and inspite of higher investments, this system rendered higher economic gains followed by Bed system. Tarura trellis was found most suitable for rainfed July Elberta peach growing under high density planting systems.
