IT WAS EARLY MARCH, and through my office window the streets of Oxford looked grey and uninviting. But for once I wasn't depressed by the miserable weather. BBC producer Steve Greenwood had just phoned to offer me a place on a six-week expedition to explore Borneo's most remote comers - places where even scientists have rarely been. If you want to make discoveries, rainforests are as good as it gets. And Borneo's jungles are particularly rich in insect species, many of which are found nowhere else on Earth.
