摘要

The demand for roses in floriculture trade is currently on the increase, so it is desirable to multiply the elite genotypes in large numbers. Currently, emphasis is being given on specific cultivars, which are important for cut flowers. Tissue cultureholds promise as in-vitro rooting system is the possibility of eliminating the use of rootstock. If that is the case, the tissue culture system can be used to propagate particular rootstocks. Since tissue cultured plantlets should grow well on their own roots following in-vitro propagation, a good root system is necessary. For the above mentioned reasons, in the present studies, two auxins along with two different strength of Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium.
