Effect of boron on growth and yield of cauliflower in lateratic soil of western Orissa

摘要

Application of borax @ 5 kg /ha as soil application + 0.25% foliar spray at 45 and 60 days after planting significantly increased the number of leaves/plant, leaf area, curd weight, curd width and curd length of cauliflower variety Pusa Synthetic. This treatment also gave highest curd yield (140,86 q/ha) of cauliflower with highest cost:benefit ratio (4.20).
