摘要

The extent of genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance with respect of different growth, yield and quality traits in 48 chilli genotypes were studied. Study depicted a lot of variability far various parameters. Fruit yield, fruits/plant,fruit diameter, seeds/fruit, leaf area and virus incidence were observed highly heritable parameters along with larger magnitude of genetic advance. It is thus suggested that these characters would respond favourably to simple selection procedures.
