Application of P fertilizer increased the fruit yield and response of superphosphate was found to be superior in direct effect. However, the residual effect of rockphosphate at higher rates in combination with farm yard manure is of great significance. The single superphosphate has proved to be better than rockphosphate at the same level of P. In general, the application of P did not affect any of the quality parameters except TSS and firmness. Rockphosphate in combination with farmyard manure can be much economical as compared to superphosphate in the long term use of P.
