摘要

A facile synthesis of new series of diethyl-1,4-dihydro-2.6-dimethyl-4-(1,3-diaryl-1H-pyrazole-4-yl)/cycloalkyl pyridine-3,5-dicarboxylates has been accomplished by stirring a mixture of 1,3-diaryl -1 H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde/cycloalkylcarbaxaldehyde, ethylacetoacetate and ammonium acetate at room temp for 8-10 min in excellent yields. All the synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analysis and spectral data such as IR, ~1H NMR, ~(13)C-NMR and mass spectrometry Further, in vitro antimicrobial activities of the compounds were screened against different pathogens.
