Magee equations and oncotype DX (R)-a perspective

Oncotype DX (R) is a multi-gene expression assay that is frequently used for making chemotherapeutic decisions in estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer. Magee Equations represents multivariable model that can estimate oncotype DX (R) score. Magee Equations use routinely reported morphologic and immunohistochemical data in pathology reports to estimate the oncotype DX (R) score. This letter provides commentary on Harowicz et al. study ( Breast Cancer Res Treat, 2017. PMID: 28064383) and also offers some insights into Magee equations that we have developed a few years ago.
