Catamixis baccharoides Thomson (Asteraceae), a New Record for Himachal Pradesh

The paper deals with the discovery of a new population of threatened taxa Catamixis baccharoides Thomson. The species is first time recorded from the state of Himachal Pradesh.Catamixis Thomson consisting of C. baccharoides Thomson is a monotypic genus of family Asteraceae. The genus shows its occurrence from Western Nepal extending up to lower Shiwalik belt of Indian Himalaya. In India, Catamixis baccharoides is reported fromthe states of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana with most of the localities falling in the state of Uttarakhand.
