The Uterine Doughnutcolon; Potential Pitfall for Technetium-99m Gastrointestinal Bleeding Study

摘要

A case of intense uterine hyperemia secondary to recent pregnancy, the so-called uterine ldquo;doughnutrdquo; sign, is presented as a potential pitfall in the evaluation of gastrointestinal bleeding. Delayed imaging helped in evaluating the lack of serial change in appearance and the failure of progression of the scintigraphic abnormality.
