JK Tyre To Expand Radial Capacity at Mysore Plant

JK Tyre, the flagship division of JK Industries, is expanding radial truck tyre production at its Mysore plant to 3.5 lakh units per year from the current 2.4 lakh units, as demand for radial tyres is on the rise i the country. Top company officials told a group of mediapersons here that JK Tyre would invest Rs. 75 crore in expanding the capacity by March 2004.
