Investigations into the Suitabiity of Natural Fibre-Reinforced plastics for Injection Moulding of Automotive parts natural fibre-reinforced thermoplastics and thermosets can also be injection moulded. Mass production of injection moulded automotive parts is achievable, especially since the products in exploratory experiments did not require any major modifications to process and mould technology. Despite reduced weight and costs, the parts still have properties lying within the specifications set for conventional reinforced parts.
