TELEVISION GAMESHOWS often invite contestants to second-guess public associations with a given topic. If the Caribbean came up, what would you say? You'd get high marks for beaches, sunshine, rum and cricket. Very probably, you'd get nothing for naming frigatebirds, forests of cacti, mangrove-loving iguanas, sloths, sperm whales and the world's second-longest coral reef. But, as the new BBC series Wild Caribbean shows, we should all be prepared to-ditch the stereotypes.
