Chemical composition of Rose absolute and Rose oil have been determined by GC and GC-MS. Thirteen and twenty five compounds representing (92.4 & 86.7 %), of the total absolute and oil respectively have been identified. Major components in the absolute and oil were phenyl ethyl alcohol (53.4), citronellol (5.8), nerol (4.6), geraniol (15.2), nonadecane (5.8) and citronellol (27.4), nerol (7.5), geraniol (19.5), nonadecane (11.4), henicosane (6.8 %) respectively.
