Philips Carbon Shelves Kerala Unit Expansion

Philips Carbon Black Ltd (PCBL) of the RPG group seems to have shelved the expansion of its unit in Kerala despite the upward trend in demand for carbon black both in the dometic and foreign markets. Now, to cope with the market demand, the company has decided to raise the capacity utilisation of its major plant at Durgapur in West Bengal.
