An explicit solution of the general two-body collision problem

In this paper, we present anexplicitalgorithm for the solution of the general two-body collision problem. The description of the algorithm is cast in the form of a flowchart containing references to equations listed in the Appendix. Following an explanation of the rationale underlying the algorithm, an illustrative example is worked out.
