摘要

Laser produced plasmas have great values in fundamental and industrial applications, hence the research for deep insights of the LPP physics is necessary. In this paper, plasmas dynamics were studied through a Mach-Zehnder interferometer, and the phase shift, refractive index, as well as the density of free electrons were all recovered, respectively. Then, characterization of the shock waves were carried out, and simulation work relevant to the plasmas expansion into the ambient air were accomplished by a high-speed viscous flow scheme. Results of the experimental and simulated work found good agreement with each other.
