Prevalence of Alternaria blight of mustard and sources of its resistance in Jammu Division of Jammu & Kashmir.

摘要

Results are presented of studies conducted to assess the status of Alternaria blight of mustard (caused by Alternaria brassicae) in Jammu Division of Jammu and Kashmir, India, during rabi 2009-10 and 2010-11. The overall disease scoring was performed at 0-6 rating scle on the basis of disease assessment key for Alternaria blight in rapeseed-mustard. The use of germplasm which showed resistance to Alternaria blight during the study can control the disease severity as well as the disease spread under Jammu conditions.
