Some new host records of Nigrospora sphaerica.

摘要

During a survey, a large number of hyphomycetous fungi were found to cause leaf spot diseases on different angiospermic plants of different regions including forests of Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas of West Bengal. Among these, 8 new hosts of Nigrospora sphaerica are recorded, i.e. Canna indica, Bambusa arundinacea, Bougainvillea spectabilis, Calotropis gigantea, Bryophyllum pinnatum [Kalanchoe pinnata], Dracaena sp., Ficus religiosa and Nyctanthes arbor-tristis.
