Rose concrete and absolute from Rosa damascena var.Noorjahan

Rose absolute has been produced from rose concrete from Rosa damascena var.Noorjahan using absolute ethanol.Analysis of concretes at different stages of extraction and absolute have been done by GC and GC-MS.The yield of absolute from concrete was 53.6% Major components in the concrete and absolute have been identified as phenyl ethyl alcohol,citronellol,nerol,geraniol and nonadecane.
