摘要

The essential oils obtained by hydro-distillation of the leaf, stem and bark of Cinnamomum camphora (Linn.) Nees and Eberm. growing in the campus of Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow were analyzed by GC and GC-MS. Twenty three constituents were identified totalling 97%,90% and 91% of the oils in leaf, stem and bark, respectively. Camphor (67.23, 59.6 and 50.53%) and 1,8-cineole (2.43,7.41 and 19.39%) are the prominent components of all the oils of leaf, stem and bark, respectively.
