Coal India Ltd may face a disruption in production and offtake later this month, with the vie major trade unions serving a two day "work to rule" ultimatum, seek ing the retrieval of mines from private companies and protesting further divest ment of the state run miner. "The unions of Coal India would reort to work to rule from September 18 to 20 and would meet at Ranchi on September 21 to decide on a future strategy," Jobon Roy, general secretary of the All India Coal Worker's Federation told the Teiegraph.
