Networks, claims administrators look for common ground with insurance companies

Allstate Insurance Co.'s recent decision not to renew its contract with Columbus, O., based Safe-lite Glass Corp. and Minneapolis, Minn., based HarmonAutoglass, two of the country's largest auto glass claims administrators, and its consequent decision to pursue a future contract with PPG's Lynx Services sent tremors throughout the auto glass industry last fall (see Newstrack item, page 12).
