AbstractA need exists within universities, polytechnics and other educational establishments, for computers which are specifically designed for teaching purposes, particularly in the promotion of understanding how computers can be organized to process programs. Economically, it often makes more sense to design a teaching machine and then simulate it on an existing installation than to acquire a separate purpose‐built computer.
