摘要

Somatostatin- and gastrin-like immunoreactivity has been found by immunofluorescence in cells of the stomach and intestinal epithelia ofCiona intestinalisL. The cells containing the peptide immunoreactive to mammalian anti-gastrin can be restained with the Grimelius' technique for argyrophilia.
