Approach is a key-word when it comes to turning heat resistant super alloys in more ways than one. As a material group, they are probably the most demanding to machine. Developments in cutting tools and application from Sandvik Coromant have come a long way in this field which has helped pave the way to new levels of performance and results. New to this area are the newly-developed combinations of tool materials and cutting geometries.
