We're all back in the office following the upheaval of the Paris motor show. Uniquely, the organisers hold the preview days on Thursday and Friday, which suits no one except themselves. Still, it was a terrific show, despite the absence of Ford, Volvo, Mazda and others. The French manufacturers are trying hard at the moment and their efforts to emphasise a Gallic character and approach are starting to work well.
