Jaguar's new ￡900,000 C-X75 supercar will be powered by a remarkable new 1.6-litre turbocharged and supercharged petrol engine expected to produce around 500bhp. Details of the Gaydon designed and built engine have been revealed ahead of the first of five prototypes of the plug-in hybrid hitting the road. The engine sits alongside a pair of the "world's most powerful electric motors" to give a top speed in excess of 200mph.
