Delighted to discover in Lisbon today that the new Peugeot 208 seems a very good thing. That's quite a relief. Everyone knows how badly PSA needs a best-seller at the moment, and the launch of its new supermini (40 per cent of Peugeot volume) represents its best chance of big-scale success in years. PSA chiefs have already said they're banking on sales of over half a million a year, which shows how much the new model matters.
