Long-term test car? Nope, I have a selection of fairly long-in-the-tooth old nails but I'm happy. Until, that is, one gets damaged. It's the classic offside door mirror scenario, where a fellow motorist smashes it to bits, fails to stop and pick up the pieces and, more to the point, fails to make a meaningful contribution towards the repair fund. So I am a door mirror down - not just the glass, but also the plastic shroud at the front. Still, with the world wide web and everything, it will take a few clicks and phone calls to find a replacement. After all, this is the world's most popular estate car we are talking about here - a V70, for goodness' sake.
