A method is proposed for determining high‐precision relative positions from NAVSTAR observations. A 5‐cm accuracy is expected for a 100‐km baseline. One possible implementation would consist of a software package for a general‐purpose computer and two mobile receiving stations. An observation would typically last four hours. No information is needed about the precision code transmitted by the satellites.
