IF THERE IS ONE overriding theme to Mercedes-Benz's facelifted SL, it is the adoption of a more aggressive character. Still, there is a lot more to this car than its arresting looks. In keeping with the focus on forcefulness, Mercedes-Benz has also set about boosting performance and injecting an added dash of sportiness to the driving experience, too.
