Ford's luxury brand is betting the farm on its handsome MKZ saloon and a bold new approach. One of the most striking details of the new Lincoln MKZ is the big saloon's newly redesigned grille, which breaks with more than three-quarters of a century of tradition, with horizontal slats rather than the classic Lincoln waterfall shape. Designer Max Woolf says he was inspired by the outstretched wings of an eagle, a visual theme he extends to the rest of the vehicle that made its debut at this year's Detroit motor show.
