Honda wants to take advantage of Europe's lucrative crossover market and the new HR-V is the car with which it hopes to do it. Although the HR-V's exterior dimensions place it in roughly the same league as the Nissan Juke and Skoda Yeti, Honda intends to steal customers from the segment above, where the likes of the Nissan Qashqai and Renault Kadjar reside. On paper at least, the HR-V makes a good case for itself. Take its boot capacity, which trumps that of the Qashqai for seats-up volume, with 453 litres to the Nissan's 430 litres. The Kadjar only slightly beats the HR-V here, offering a 472-litre boot.
