Splash joins boot camp - Our practical Suzuki punches above its weight at a car boot sale

AS THE ODOMETER on the Splash clicks rapidly towards 6000 miles, I find myself putting the little Suzuki to ever more apparently inappropriate uses. Most recently, an impending house move prompted the Splash to be pressed into car boot sale service. Parked alongside the serried ranks of estates, white vans and MPVs, the Splash looked a little out of place. Its MPV-in-miniature proportions meant that it looked merely the wrong scale instead of the wrong shape entirely, but the bright turquoise paintwork and tinted windows did mark it out as something odd. Mind you, perhaps it helped to get us noticed by more punters (although the fact that we sold only 25 quid's worth of stuff would suggest otherwise).
