Thanks to a weird run-in I had with the law recently, my rock-solid faith in 'the system' is no longer quite as strong as it once was. See what you mink... I was travelling along the Surrey section of the M25, going anticlockwise between junctions 12 and 10, and it was around 4.30pm so inevitably the variable speed limit signs were ablaze. In the inside lane was a police Range Rover; I was bumbling along in lane three about 100-150 yards behind, going with the flow along with everyone else.
