Efficiency gains for Audi's new 2.0 petrol engine

AUDI HAS REVEALED details of its new "high-efficiency" 2.0 TFSI turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, which will make its debut in the all-new A4 at the end of this year before being offered in other Audi models. The new unit, which weighs just 140kg, develops 188bhp, while its 236lb ft torque spread comes in at just 1400rpm and runs through to 4400rpm, giving the engine uncharacteristically diesel-like performance.
