Peugeot could launch a super-frugal version of its new 208 supermini that would be even 'greener' than a battery-powered vehicle and far less expensive. Company sources have told Autocar that by using much of the engineering developed for the 208 FE concept, a petrol-powered supermini with CO_2 emissions of 70g/km was feasible in about three years.
