OUR KIA HAS JUST made its third trip to the dealer, this time for the obligatory 12,500-mile service. The check-up fell at the right time to sort out a faulty driver's window, which has spent the last month refusing to close without a few minutes of cursing and physical persuasion. Apparently there was no fault, merely a lack of lubrication, which was solved by some liberal application ofWD40. The window now works as smoothly as ever.
