Service with a big smile - Our C320 CDI is giving sterling service - and that's just what it (and its driver) got at the Merc dealer

USUALLY I PUT getting my car serviced right up there with going to the dentist. After all, you don't want to do either and they both usually involve a rather nasty lump being taken out of your current account. Despite all this, I was almost looking forward to getting the Merc C320 CDI serviced. Why? Because I was dead set on getting the job done at Mercedes-Benz World in Brooklands, Surrey. Just to recap, this is the first of Merc's so-called brand centres in the UK. It's part museum (with some very tasty exhibits), part showcase of all things Merc and part swish dealership. Because it's built next to the famous racetrack (which also has a rather good museum) it's probably the only car dealership in the country to which you'd contemplate taking the wife and kids for a day out.
