As Toyota unveils the FT-86, Steve Sutcliffe drives the firm's 1990s performance hero, the Supra, and finds it's a great used buy if you avoid tuned examples. When Toyota launched the Mk4 Supra way back in 1993, no one knew quite what to expect. The previous version had, after all, been a car aspired to by third division footballers and mildly successful estate agents, so there was no reputation as such to rely upon.
