The Citroen Aircross concept seen at Shanghai shows how a future Land Rover Discovery Sport rival will look - and it will also play a role in helping the company shape its future SUV and MPV strategy, according to boss Linda Jackson. "The SUV market is the fastest-growing sector in the world, but we are trying to analyse how that will develop in the future and where it leaves the future of seven-seat MPVs," said Jackson. "Our core strategy is to reduce the number of silhouettes we offer from 14 to seven so as to focus more clearly on the biggest segments. Aircross will play an important role in helping us work out how we do that."
