摘要

The present paper deals with the radiation characteristics of equilateral triangular microstrip antenna on ferrite substrate in weakly ionized plasma medium. Using the concept of resonator, the expression for the E-plane pattern and H-plane pattern are developed in terms of plasma parameter. Attempt has also been confined to analyze the resonant frequency and input impedance as function of plasma parameter. It has been found that the radiation characteristics of such antenna affected significantly due to the presence of plasma medium. The value of resonant frequency and input impedance are also modified to great extent due to the presence of plasma medium. The antenna becomes more omni-directional in plasma medium than free space.
