摘要

This paper examines the analysis of a two-dimensional electrically conducting polar fluid through a porous medium with variable suction / injection and variable permeability bounded by an infinite horizontal porous plate in slip flow regime. The suction / injection on the plate and the permeability of the porous medium decrease exponentially with time. Exact solutions of the mean angular velocity, velocity distribution and skin-friction are obtained. The effects of permeability parameter, couple stress and other parameters entering into the problem are shown graphically and discussed numerically. It is found that when rotational viscosity and couple stress are increased Telocity of the fluid is increased.
