Charlotte Wyatt was born in October 2003, weighing about lib. She needed to be ventilated for most of her first three months of life. She was believed to be blind and deaf and incapable of voluntary movement. On three occasions now the courts have been asked to adjudicate in disputes between her parents and her doctors about Charlotte's future care.
