Organic farming is a holistic production management system, which facilitates maximum use of organic material and discourages use of synthetically produced agro inputs for maintaining soil productivity and fertility and pest management conditions of sustainable natural resources and healthy environment. Following principles govern the organic production, Soil fertility preservation; Protection of environment and soil; Nutrition; Energy conseivation; Livestock health; Economic viability; Biodiversityand ecological balance.
