Two new Oxytrechus species from Ecuadorian paramo (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Trechinae)

Description and illustration of two new Oxytrechus species from the paramos of the northern Ecuadorian Andes. O. chioriae n. sp. is distributed at high altitude on the Chimborazo volcano on the Occidental Cordillera; O. cayambeensis n. sp. is located on the Oriental Cordillera and colonizes the Cayambe volcano. The two species are compared to other Ecuadorian species and some considerations about the distribution pattern of South-American species of Oxytrechus are proposed.
